Bereavement - Grief Education Resources

When a loved one dies, the grief that follows affects all aspects of a bereaved person's life. The loss of your loved one may affect you physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and even spiritually. Understanding the grief process and knowing what to expect can make coping with grief less stressful and unpredictable.

At Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, we believe in a holistic approach to caring for our patients and their families. Part of our care includes educating families about grief through support group meetings, workshops, and one-on-one communication.

You are welcome to come by our office and browse through our library. We have a wide selection of books, audio and video tapes. You may wish to view a video in the office, or check out a book to take home and read at your leisure. There is. of course, no charge for this service. We only ask that you return borrowed materials in a timely fashion.
