Dr. Karen Adams, ABHPM
Medical Director

Dr. Karen Adams joined the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma staff in November, 2001 as the Medical Director. Dr. Adams works part-time for Hospice of North Central Oklahoma and she is available to the staff and patients at a moment’s notice and attends the weekly IDG (Interdisciplinary Group) Meetings as well. Dr. Adams also has a full-time private family practice with offices located at 421 E. Hartford in Ponca City.

Dr. Adams is also certified as a Hospice & Palliative Care Physician through the National Medical Association of Hospice & Palliative Medicine and she received her certification in 2004. Dr. Adams has been in Ponca City since 1987 and she and her husband have three sons. She enjoys quilting, gardening and reading. Dr. Adams is also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ponca City.
