Nesley was born in Okmulgee, OK. She
attended grade school and most of high school in Ponca City, OK. She graduated
in 2001 from Arkansas City High School. She attended college at Montana State
University. Due to the health of her great grandmother she moved back to Ponca
City, OK.
Nesley took care of her great
grandmother for a year and experienced hospice services while caring for her
grandmother. Nesley wanted to give back to hospice for everything they have done
for her family. So, she became a hospice volunteer for Hospice of North Central
Oklahoma in 2008. She then was offered an Administrative and Volunteer Assistant
job in fall of 2008.
A year after being part of the hospice
team she was promoted to Director of Development. Responsibilities include
leading fundraising activities, grant writing efforts and participating in
health fairs. Nesley felt called to hospice care and feels very blessed to now
be part of the hospice team.
Nesley is a member of the Charity Angels
Ambucs.
Nesley’s hobbies include scrapbooking,
playing cards with family and love spending time with friends and family.
